Adron
You can have it good, quick or cheap. Pick 2.
I am using this stuff this year.

Adron, I had an uncle tell me to get an eye dropper and apply one drop of mineral oil to each ear as soon as you see tassells, but I never tried it so I don't know whether that would work or not.
Mineral oil and an eyedropper will probably work. The commercial version is called a Zee-lator and is available from Johnny's Selected Seeds in Maine.
Thanks to all! Little late for this year (I just made a 30% donation to the worm population), but you can bet I'll be prepared next year.

The mineral oil trick works. I put it on about a week after the silks first appear. Use a dropper, couple drops on the silks. Hateful worms are rare in my corn now. Sounds strange when I tell the wife I'm going out to 'oil the corn'.
corn oil with a spray bottle works too
